Descartes Canadian Customs Brokerage™, previously called ITMr4, is an on-demand enterprise-level software solution to help customs brokers, freight forwarders and/or importers & self-filers better manage their operations. From accounting, financial reports, EDI integration capabilities, front end document management, imaging, e-billing, web-based tracking and tracing, reporting and streamlined data entry, Descartes Canadian Customs Brokerage can help boost productivity, improve accuracy and increase compliance.
 
Responsibilities
•    Working closely with our development, support, sales teams & clients, you will be a key resource within our implementation team responsible for assisting our clients implement our ITM software solutions  

This opportunity involves working with our clients to:
•    Establish a Statement of Work and Project Deliverables
•    Building & configuring the software for eventual Go Live with CBSA
•    Planning and scheduling of project activities & the tracking of project milestones
•    Support our clients through their integration development activities by providing best practices recommendations
•    Understanding of client requirements, providing recommendations, and offering solutions 
•    Design and execute training plans
•    Track and report project activities and progress
•    Assisting the clients during their project Go Lives with CBSA

•    You will also be working with our sales team to assist them in sales demos and product overviews to potential clients as well as working with our Product team to recommend software enhancements & improvements identified through your interaction of implementing projects
 
Qualifications
•    A minimum of 3 to 5 years industry experience working in the Canadian customs brokers, freight forwarding environment
•    Experience in software implementation and deployment of logistics-based business applications
•    Experience managing projects including time management and scope change management
•    Experience working as part of an implementation team
•    User training experience
•    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to gain deep understanding of customer business workflows & processes, as well as the ability to convey recommended solution, deployment, and customer workflow enhancement recommendations
•    Superior client management skills
•    System testing experience 
•    Ability to analyze data and data mine
•    Detail orientated and meticulous
