We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to develop, execute campaigns and activities to boost lead generation for China. Descartes is a fast growing, innovative logistics technology company, and we are seeking to add your marketing capabilities to our company. For this, you must be able to work individually and independently. Duties include creating and executing campaigns, set up online marketing initiatives, develop thought leadership pieces to drive lead generation and brand awareness for China.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Managing Director & VP of Sales to develop & successfully execute a marketing strategy that drives brand awareness and pipeline acceleration in the different segments that Descartes is targeting in the Chinese market.
  • Develop & execute online lead generation campaigns making use of our own website, social media, SEO, …
  • Organize the annual hosted event for China, as well as tradeshows throughout the region.
  • Manage and help assign inbound sales inquiries via CRM.  
  • Work closely with sales and other product and marketing team members to leverage business synergies wherever possible.
  • Your region of responsibility is China.

 

Required Profile

  • Preferably University or higher education degree with a first experience in B2B Marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge and capability of Chinese, fluent in English.
  • Experience with CRM is a big advantage.
  • The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
  • Have group collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Is a resourceful problem-solver, leveraging internal and partner resources where and when needed to do what is right for the organization.
