The QA Analyst role is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of test cases following the QA & Testing process to create quality deliverables. 
The following key responsibilities, skills and preferred certifications for QA & Testing Analyst are listed below: 


•    Review requirements, specifications, and other deliverables for testability and to assist scoping testing effort. 
•    Identifying, analyzing, interpreting, and defining the required tests for new and/or modified products or product components aligned with developed requirements and design documentations 
•    Complies with the testing process including tools usage and test methodology 
•    Develop test plans and test cases based on the requirements 
•    Creation and execution of test cases following the test process and approach, update the test results in the identified test management tool 
•    Perform UI and API testing and back-end DB validation
•    Create necessary test data for test execution aligned with the requirements or changes 
•    Log defects into defect management tool with clear description following documented process 
•    Participates in the defect triage meetings and report test status 
•    Research and learn new technologies and share knowledge with the team
•    Ensure all standard QA practices are followed and respected

 

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role 
•    University degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
•    3+ years of experience in a QA role with understanding of standard testing practices 
•    Good Analytical skills with strong verbal and written communications skills 
•    A challenging and inquiring mind with attention to detail and tenacity 
•    Good understanding of the software release process and different testing methodologies 
•    Ability to multi-task 

 

Nice To Have Knowledge or experience of the following: 
•    Microsoft SQL (DB) 
•    Azure DevOps
•    Katalon Studios and/or Ranorex
•    Agile methodologies
