As a member of the IT team the Technical Data Analyst will play a key role in operationalizing and maintaining company-wide business performance and analysis data.  This is an opportunity to collaborate with teams across all levels and departments within the organization to analyze, design, develop, deliver, and maintain world class data management solutions. 

The ideal candidate will thrive managing competing priorities and constantly evolving business needs to deliver BI solutions using leading edge Microsoft data management technologies to enable high value data insights and decision support. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide BI insights, analytics, and data management subject matter expertise  
  • Maintain BI data sources, metrics, reports, and dashboards 
  • Create impactful, high value, scalable and secure BI solutions 
  • Monitor and maintain day-to-day BI data infrastructure and operations 
  • Champion business data model standardization and normalization 
  • Review and align across-system data sources, reports, dashboards, views and lists 
  • Establish and maintain BI data import/export processes and controls 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to monitor and improve BI data validity and reliability 
  • Lead BI delivery projects as needed 

 

Experience: 

  • Broad design, development, delivery and support of Microsoft Data Management technologies 
  • Hands-on complex business intelligence development for large global software organizations 
  • Previous experience in supporting large globally distributed sales, marketing, prod, dev, services, and IT organizations 
  • Familiarity with global information security & privacy compliance programs 
  • Have a strong grasp of complex CRM and ERP workflows, systems, processes, and data 
  • Implemented Account Based attribution and performance metrics, reports, and dashboards 
  • Dynamics 365, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel integration and development 
  • Power App, Power BI, and Power Automate development  
  • Data mart, data warehouse, data staging, data backup, data storage optimization, ETL, SSRS 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ yrs intermediate to advanced Power BI development  
  • 3+ yrs advanced Microsoft Excel development  
  • 3+ yrs intermediate to advanced SQL development for business intelligence 
  • Professional business communication skills  
  • Relevant post-secondary degrees in Information Management, or Business Intelligence 
  • Microsoft Power BI, Data Management certifications are a plus 
  • Relevant industry professional certifications are a plus 

 

Location: This is a remote opportunity, open to applicants authorized to work in Canada or the United States.
