Du hilfst mit, unser Produkt “Global Price Management” (GPM) weiterzuentwickeln, mit dem zwölf der zwanzig größten Spediteure der Welt ihre Kernprozesse abbilden. Das Produkt wird kontinuierlich mit neuen Features und auch für individuelle Kundenanforderungen weiterentwickelt. Du bist dafür verantwortlich, das Entwicklerteam mit Deinen Fähigkeiten zu unterstützen.

Descartes ist ein führender Anbieter von Ratenmanagementsystemen für den Seetransport und von Veröffentlichungsdiensten für den Seetransport. Die Systeme und Dienstleistungen, die Descartes für VOCCs, NVOCCs, Verlader und andere Seeverkehrsvermittler bereitstellt, ermöglichen es ihnen, globale Ratenregister zu führen, die Zuteilung und Liegegebühren zu verwalten.  
 

Das Aufgabenspektrum dieser Position umfasst:

 

• Weiterentwicklung unserer Logistiksoftware “GPM” für unsere internationalen Kunden
• Analyse und Spezifikation von Kundenanforderungen
• Evaluierung und Entwicklung von Lösungen und deren Umsetzung
• Verantwortung im Entwicklungsprozess und entwicklungsbegleitende Qualitätssicherung
• Kommunikation über Konfigurationsaufgaben mit unserem weltweiten Kundenstamm
• Dokumentation und Kommunikation in englischer Sprache

 

Was du mitbringst:

 

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbare Ausbildung
• Java & SQL-Programmier- und Datenverwaltungskenntnisse
• Sicherer Umgang mit JPA/Hibernate, JMS, Maven, Git, Tomcat und Linux
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung
• Erfahrung mit Datenverwaltungsprogrammen wie MS Excel
• Systematischer, qualitätsorientierter und effizienter Arbeitsstil
• Teamfähigkeit
• Bereitschaft zum Aufbau von Kenntnissen in Bezug auf den geschäftlichen Kontext unserer Lösungen und Logistikdaten
• Kundenorientierung und natürlicher Geschäftssinn
• Sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse, Spanischkenntnisse wären ein Plus
