Datamyne is seeking a Junior Developer to join our team and contribute to our flagship product, the most comprehensive online global trade data platform. This role is ideal for those with a passion for development and a strong foundation in SQL, Java, and preferably Spring Framework, Angular/AngularJS, and Linux.

Responsibilities:

– Participate in the development and enhancement of our software.
– Analyze and specify requirements to ensure precise and effective software solutions.
– Engage in the full development lifecycle including solution design, implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance.
– Document development processes and code changes, and communicate these effectively.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Proficient in Java, with exposure to Spring Framework and Angular/AngularJS.
– Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
– Experience with SQL and understanding of relational databases such as Postgres.
– Ability to work in both Windows and Linux development environments.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
– Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Location:

– This is a hybrid position based in Montevideo, requiring the employee to be onsite 2 days per week.
