You will be a part of the Global Linux team that secures, deploys, manages, and automates our cloud and on-prem Linux systems. Thanks to your ambition and your technical know-how, you are making informed decisions to build solutions, implement new technology, provide training, and maintain our current production and development infrastructures. This team consists of several in North America and EMEA regions.

 

Requirements

• 3+ years of SysOps, SRE or DevOps experience.

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong proficiency in English

• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced knowledge in at least one Linux distribution (e.g. Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, etc).

• Excellent Knowledge in at least one Public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)

• Understand and manage networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, UDP, SMTP, FTP/SFTP and load balancing

• Advanced experience with at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Ruby, Go etc.).

• Hands on experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)

• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Cloudwatch, NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, etc.).

• Knowledge of cloud and on-prem security best practices to protect data from intrusion, loss, and corruption.

• Knowledge and understanding of ITIL

• Bonus points for experience with docker and containers orchestration such as ECS and Kubernetes.

• Participate in a 24×7 on call rotation to provide immediate support and response to critical incidents

• Implement Request for Changes (RFC) to production systems during off-hours

• Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

• Respond to and resolve tickets in the support queue in a timely manner

• Willingness to learn and adapt new technologies and methodologies.
