POSITION SUMMARY

In your function as a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for our Transport Management and Supply Chain Management product suite. You will work as part of the EMEA Activations team

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define, document, run and support User Acceptance tests, based on a set solution design.
• Project-based Carrier Onboarding
• Monitoring schedules
• Inform and keep internal and external stakeholders up to date
• Executing and supervising – end-to-end – testing
• Sending and following up on questionnaires (GLN + MP + DCP)
• Handling substantive questions from carriers about data they exchange
• Informing and following up BCs / PMs / Carrier contacts regarding outstanding questions

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent communication and consultancy skills both verbal and in writing in English and in Dutch.
• Experience with international logistic operations and in-depth knowledge of logistics processes, related to Transport- and Supply Chain management.
• Experience in IT as a business specialist and product configuration expert.
• Literate with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messaging and able to design detailed interface solutions based on EDI messaging scenarios. Also with API, XML, and ANSI.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of the Logistics and Transportation Industry.
• Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• You have knowledge and experience with SAP or other ERP / WMS platforms.
• You have experience in design methodologies and techniques.
• Preference will be given to candidates that have operational experience working with or at shippers and/or logistic service providers.
• Service oriented, and solution-driven. 
• Process is driven and project-focused.
• Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, transparent, and accountable.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects independently.
• In addition, you are a commercial and reliable advisor for our customers.

 

LANGUAGES

Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English is required

 

LOCATION

This role will be based in the BENELUX area.
